وجه جمال بلماضي المدير الفني للمنتخب الجزائري، رسالة إلى الجزائريين، حثهم فيها على الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية تفاديا لتفشي فيروس كورونا، مؤكدًا أنه من الصعب الحديث عن الكرة في مثل هذه الأوقات.
وقال بلماضي في فيديو نشره اتحاد الكرة الجزائري في موقعه الرسمي "في مثل هذه الأوقات الغامضة والمضطربة إلى حد ما، أردت كمواطن أولًا ثم كمدرب، أن أخاطب جميع مواطني بلدي".
وتابع "في البداية يجب أن أقول لهم أن يعتنوا بأنفسهم وعائلاتهم، وأن يتخذوا جميع الإجراءات اللازمة التي نعرفها جميعا عن هذا الوباء".
وأضاف "منطقيا من الصعب الحديث عن كرة القدم حاليا لكن لم ننس عملنا رغم كل الظروف، استغل الفرصة لأقول للاعبينا الشجعان أن يعتنوا بأنفسهم وأقاربهم وأوجه لهم تحياتي راجيا من الله أن يحفظنا ويبعد عنا هذا البلاء".
ونوه "أتقدم بالتعازي الخالصة لضحايا كورونا، اسأل الله أن يتغمدهم برحمته الواسعة، كما أتمنى من كل قلبي أن يعجل الله بشفاء كل من أصيب بالمرض".
