بعد ان سيطر صلاح الدين الايوبي على القدس فشلت كل حملات الصليب لسترجاعها حصل امر عجيب خرجت حمله صليبيه باسم حملة الاطفال لسترجاع بيت المقدس مؤلفه من عشرات الالاف وعلى راسهم طفل فرنسي ادعا ان الله قد ارسله لسترجاع القدس وان الملوك والامراء فشلو بسبب زنوبهم، وعند وصولهم الى القدس جمعو كلهم وبيعو گ عبيد في اسواق المسلمين.
والرواية الثانيه ان قسم منهم مات جوعا وهم في طريقهم للقدس والقسم الاخر تم بيعهم ك عبيد في شمال افريقيا من قبل التجار الصليبين انفسهم ..
