الاستاذ الدكتور : هيثم فريد التحيوي استشارى أمراض النساء والتوليد والعقم ودكتوراه تأخر الانجاب والحقن المجهرى كلية الطب جامعة عين شمس . يوضح لنا ما هو التجميد فائق السرعة (vitrification) :


هو طريقة تجميد جديدة تعتمد على التبريد فائق السرعة والتي أشارت الأبحاث إلى تميز هذه الطريقة عن الطريقة السابقة لها بأن الأجنة أو البويضات تستعد حيويتها بنسبة عالية بعد فكها من التجميد.
وأظهرت الدراسات الحديثة وبصورة متكررة وبخلاف ما يعتقده الكثيرون أن تجميد الأجنة له من الفوائد العديدة والتي نذكرها على سبيل الذكر وليس الحصر:
* إرتفاع في نسب إنغماس الجنين بالغشاء المبطن للرحم
* إرتفاع في نسب الحمل
* إرتفاع في نسب الولادة
* إنخفاض نسب الإجهاض
* إنخفاض في نسب الولادة المبكرة
* زيادة في وزن المولود
وكانت هذه النتائج محيرة للكثيرين حتى توصلوا إلى السبب أن إرتفاع هورمون الإستروجين بنسب عالية يؤثر سلبيا على إنغماس الجنين بالرحم وهو ما له أثره السلبي على إستمرار الحمل في بعض الحالات
