كوكب الزهرة


كوكب الزّهرة كوكب الزّهرة (بالإنجليزيّة: Venus) هو ثاني كواكب المجموعة الشمسيّة بُعداً عن الشّمس، وأقرب الكواكب إلى الأرض، كما يُصنَّف أنّه أحد الكواكب الصخريّة (بالإنجليزيّة: Terrestrial Planets) حاله حال كلٍّ من كوكب عطارد، والمرّيخ، والأرض. يُطلق على كوكب الزّهرة لقب توأم الأرض؛ وذلك لوجود شبهٍ كبيرٍ بينه وبين كوكب الأرض في عدّة أمورٍ، من بينها: الحجم، والتّركيب.[١] كانت أوّل زيارةٍ لكوكب الزّهرة في عام 1962م، عن طريق المركبة (Mariner 2)؛ حيث استغرقت رحلة الوصول أقلّ من أربعة شهورٍ.[٢] أُطلِق على كوكب الزّهرة اسم (Venus)؛ نسبةً إلى إله الجمال والحبّ الرّوماني،[٣] أمّا في اللّغة العربيّة فقد سمّاه العرب هذا الاسم نظراً للونه؛ فالأزهر هو الأبيض المُستنير، والزّهرة هي الكوكب الأبيض.[٤]
