هذا النوع من النباتات المزهرة يمكن ان ينمو ليصل الى 15 قدم وهي تنمو في مجموعات ضخمة وتبدو صالحة للاكل مثل حلوى القطن ولكن تلك النباتات ستصيبك بالام في المعدة وايضا بالشعور بحكة في الجلد والتقيؤ والضعف وتصبب العرق وتشير بعض التقارير ان المصابين من تلك النباتات قد تصيبهم الغيبوبة والتشنجات وانهيار الدورة الدموية في الجسم ولحسن الحظ هناك ترياق لعلاج التسمم من تلك النباتات وايضا يتم تناول ادوية معالجة لتخفيف الاعراض الخاصة بالتسمم
