أحللتني بمحلة الجوزاء
ورويت عندك من دم الأعداء
وطعمت لحم المارقين فأخصبت
حالي وبلغني الزمان شفائي
ورأيتني كالصقر فوق معاشر
تحتي كأنهم بنات الماء
ولمحت إخواني لديك كأنهم
مما رفعتهم نجوم سماء
لا يرحم الرحمن مصرع مارق
عبثت بطاعته يد الأهواء
ألحق به إخوانه فحياتهم
نكد وقد أودى أخو السفهاء
ساعد بذاك ودع مقال معاشر
بخلوا فنالوا خطة البخلاء
من لم يفدك سوى الرماح فخله
للشمس يرقبها مع الحرباء
ودع القلانس في السحاب يشقها
ومفاخر الآباء للأبناء
إن الرجال إذا تأخر نفعهم
في كل معنى شبهوا بنساء
أنا صلهم عند الخصام فخلهم
للسان هذي الحية الرقشاء
